This catalog contains information about the Library's holdings of the drawing indexes and side elevations for Shay and rod locomotives built by the Lima Locomotive Works.

The results of a search are displayed in construction number order. The Library does not have a drawing index or side elevation for every locomotive. If there is no drawing index number or side elevation drawing number listed, the Library lacks that document.

No advance notification is required to examine a drawing index.

Lima Locomotive Works drawings are pulled on a delayed basis, for a fee. Please read the "Lima Locomotive Works" section in the Library & Collections portion of the Museum's web site for instructions on how to order photocopies of the Lima drawings indexes as well as reference copies of specific Lima drawings.
